Water Study
Terre Solidali has an excellent ability in the water research thanks to its team of local and international experts, with long working experience in Somalia and to the availability of a different surveying equipment, which allow Terre Solidali to perform a wide range of water research methodologies such as:
- Remote sensing, Geological, hydrogeological, hydrological surveys
- Geophysical surveys (VES, refraction/reflection seismic, resistivity profiling)
- GIS mapping, topographical mapping with drone and total station
- Pumping tests and water monitoring
- Borehole electrical conductivity logs
- Geotechnical studies and exploration borehole
CASE HISTORY
Terre Solidali has carried out studies in Somaliland, Puntland, South West State, Galmudug and Hirshabelle, where in some regions has discovered and studies large aquifers that are now being developed or are part of future plans.
In order to improve the quality and reliability of its studies, Terre Solidali has begun to develop its ability to perform exploratory drillings to calibrate the geophysic geophysical methodologies and to verify the finidngs of the water studies.
